Maternity Picture Preview

Some pictures we had taken to look back on and remember baby Harper in my belly!

*35 Weeks*

How far along? 35 Weeks 

Total Weight Gain:  23lbs

Maternity clothes? Definitely!

Stretch marks? I keep checking everyday and still haven't found any! Woo hoo!!

Sleep: Very little... I am sooo tired now and I will only get more tired after she is here. How is that fair? LOL

Best moment this week:  FIrst, was my baby shower with all of my wonderful co-workers.  Harper was spoiled rotten again.  We received bumbo seats, a car seat, more clothes, lots of tutu's, tons of diapers, and much more.  It was incredible and we are so appreciative of our friends here :) I also celebrated my birthday on Saturday and my AMAZING husband got me an hour and a half pre-natal massage.  It was incredible and made me feel much better!

Miss Anything?  ENERGY!!

Movement: Feeling big movements and lots of jabs in my ribs, which are really getting painful. However, Harper is now head down so I am super excited to hear that and hope she stays that way!

Food cravings: CHOCOLATE per the usual... I can't even count how many Halloween candies I eat in a day.. its terrible..

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope

Have you started to show yet: Getting TOO big!!

Gender: PRETTY IN PINK

Labor Signs: No

Symptoms: Braxton Hicks, heartburn, and going to the bathroom every 5 minutes

Belly Button in or out? Nick is calling it my anteater... haha.. it is popped out!

Wedding rings on or off? Off :(

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, but exhausted.

Looking forward to: Halloween! For our Halloween Story Parade I am dressing up as the pumpkin from the BIGGEST PUMPKIN EVER book. HAHA.. I thought this would be fitting as its how I feel. We are carving a pumpkin for Miss Harper Sophia and taking some fun Halloween pictures for her!

A Nursery Fit for A Princess

Baby Harper's nursery is complete.   My husband has worked so hard on completing the renovation and I could not be more proud of him.  The room is beautiful!  I have been working hard on decorating and finally have it ready.  I can not thank our parents enough for buying some of the furniture  in the room and my friends from Ohio for buying her bedding.  It all came together and looks so ADORABLE!  I LOVE IT :) Now we just need our baby girl to get here.  Won't be long now. Can't wait to bring Harper Sophia home to this gorgeous nursery!

*34 Weeks*

How far along? 34 Weeks, 2 days (Can you believe less than 6 weeks until Baby James is here??AHH!!!!!)

Total Weight Gain:  21lbs+ We will see how much at this week's appt.

Maternity clothes? Yes!  

Stretch marks? Still NO!!!

Sleep: Oh what I would do for a good night's sleep... Shouldn't these sleepless nights come after the baby is here??

Best moment this week: Washing all of Harper's clothes, folding them, and organizing into her armoire and dresser drawers.  Who knew doing laundry could be so much fun!

Miss Anything?  ENERGY!!

Movement: ALL the TIME! Wish she would get head down soon!

Food cravings: CHOCOLATE per the usual... Hope I lose this sweet tooth after Harper comes!

Looking forward to: My birthday!  For my special day on Saturday, Nick booked me an hour and a half pre-natal massage and dinner reservations downtown! CAN'T WAIT!!!

*33 Weeks*

 

How far along? 33 Weeks, 3 days

Total Weight Gain:  21lbs 

Maternity clothes? Yes!  

Stretch marks? Still NO!!!

Sleep: Oh what I would do for a good night's sleep... Shouldn't these sleepless nights come after the baby is here??

Best moment this week: Taking maternity pics with hubby!  We had soo much fun taking pictures for baby Harper on the beach.  It was fun to celebrate her!

Miss Anything?  Really would LOVE LOVE LOVE a glass of wine...

Movement: ALL the TIME! Wish she would get head down soon!

Food cravings: CHOCOLATE

Looking forward to: Finishing the nursery this weekend! We finally got Harper's armoire in!!! The LAST piece of furniture we were waiting for! Now we can wash her clothes and get them put away, organize, and finish decorating the nursery!

*32 Weeks*

Glitter, Sparkles & Pearls- Hooray for little girls!!!

How far along? 32 Weeks, 5 days

Total Weight Gain:  LOST 2lbs this week!  WOOHOO!!!! I know I shouldn't be too excited about this, but my doctor said it is okay as the baby only takes what they need and she is measuring right on... so go me!! HAHA I must say lastnight I ate a cupcake and a Hershey Bar so I probably put it right back on. 

Maternity clothes? Yes!  

Stretch marks? Belly Butter really works!

Sleep: Still hard.. getting up a million times to pee is awful!!!

Best moment this week: Putting Harper's bedding in her crib, organizing the changing table, and hanging decorations on the walls in her nursery. Just waiting on the armoire.

Miss Anything?  Really would LOVE LOVE LOVE a glass of wine...

Movement: ALL the TIME! Nick stares in amazement at my belly as she moves all around. 

Food cravings: CHOCOLATE DUH!!!

Belly Button in or out? It was almost completely out earlier this week and now it is back in.. so weird!

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, but exhausted.

Looking forward to:  Maternity pictures! We are getting our pictures taken Sunday on Folly Beach :)  Can't wait to see how they turn out!! I have lots of cute ideas thanks to Pinterest haha!

*31 Weeks*

How far along? 31 Weeks, 5 days

Total weight gain: 22lbs
Maternity clothes? lots of maternity shirts & pants, some maternity dresses too
Stretch marks? none yet
Sleep: sleep is not going well. I get up about 6 times a night to go to the bathroom, because I have a leg cramp, Harper is kicking the crap out of me, or I'm having Braxton Hicks contractions
Best moment this week: We got to see Harper in 4D!!! She has Nick's lips, my nose, and huge cheeks lol :) We are going to have one pretty little princess!
Miss Anything? everything - I am officially at the "uncomfortable" stage, out of breath often & I am really missing being able to put my own socks and shoes on without getting out of breath and wanting to cry out of frustration
Movement: moving around a ton!  Hopefully starting to flip and move down because right now she is breech
Food cravings: still craving sweets... enjoy having a nightly dessert lol
Anything making you queasy or sick: not much
Gender: Girl
Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: Heartburn after breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Out of breath every now & then, starting to have a major swelling in my calves, ankles, and feet after being at work all day &  some rib pain from Harper's head being wedged up there
Belly Button in or out? top is starting to pop out! but it's still in limbo
Wedding rings on or off? off :( better to be safe than sorry because they were starting to get tight.  Hubby was worried they would get stuck and I would have to get them cut off ( He would NOT be happy with me if that happened!)
Happy or Moody most of the time: Starting to feel pretty moody :(
Looking forward to: finishing the nursery & organizing all of the adorable clothes... I love looking at all of them!! Also, next weekend we will have our maternity pictures!!
